Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of qbuntu (the "Service"), provided by First Mind, Inc. ("we").
1. Operator
Operator: First Mind, Inc. (responsible manager: Tomoki Ikeda). See the Commercial Transactions Act notice for details.
2. Acceptance
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Violating laws or public order - Infringing others' rights; false or spam submissions - Disrupting the Service, excessive access, or circumventing rate limits - Submitting through unauthorized channels that bypass AI mediation - Reverse engineering or unauthorized redistribution
5. Age restriction
The Service is not intended for users under 18.
6. Intellectual property and content rights
- Strategy data we publish (verdicts and analysis) is provided under the CC-BY-4.0 license. - For content you post to the public board, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to normalize, publish, cite, and translate it. - Ideas and results submitted as paid private analyses are not published and remain yours.
7. Paid plans
- qbuntu Plus is USD 9.99 / month and qbuntu Pro is USD 19.99 / month (billed via Stripe). The monthly fee includes a set number of analyses (Plus: 3 / month); additional analyses are USD 3.50 each. Prices follow what is shown on each service page. - Paid plans are charged at signup and renew automatically on each billing date. - The cost estimate (credits) for an analysis is shown up front and runs only after you approve it. You are charged only for an analysis that completes successfully.
8. Cancellation and downgrade
You can cancel a paid plan at any time. On cancellation you retain access until the end of the current billing period. As a digital service, we do not provide prorated refunds.
9. Changes to the Service
We may change, add, suspend, or discontinue the Service without prior notice.
10. Inactive accounts
Long-inactive accounts may be deleted after prior notice.
11. Disclaimer (important: not investment advice)
The Service is for research and information about quantitative trading strategies. It is not investment advice or solicitation. - Verdicts, backtest results, and analyses are based on historical data and do not guarantee future results. - Backtest results may differ from live results (passing a backtest is not the same as printing money in production). - Any investment decision or trade you make based on the Service is your own responsibility; we are not liable for resulting losses. - The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
12. AI processing and training
The Service uses external AI (e.g., Google Gemini) to process submissions. Data from private analyses is not used to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy for details.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
14. Dispute resolution
The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes relating to the Service.
15. Language
These Terms may be provided in multiple languages. For users in Japan, the Japanese version prevails.
16. Miscellaneous
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. We may revise these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page.
